DOWFROST HD inhibited propylene glycol is comprised of about 94% glycol and 6% corrosion inhibitors.
DOWFROST HD has a fluorescent yellow color and is suitable for use in environments between -50°F and 325°F (-45°C and 160°C).
DOWFROST HD is intended for low toxicity, non-food processing applications and provides freeze protection down to -60 F.
Food Grade Propylene Glycol
DOWFROST inhibited propylene glycol is a food-grade thermal fluid for a wide range of heat transfer applications and is comprised of 96% propylene glycol and 4% corrosion inhibitors to protect and extend equipment life.
All ingredients have been classified as GRAS (generally regarded as safe) by the FDA and are approved as direct food additives as well.
DOWFROST exhibits effective heat transfer from -50°F to 250°F (-45°C to 120°C) and can offer “burst protection” down to -60F.
